Never would have guessed that one!

As for me, Mr. Baseball is the nickname of Brewers longtime broadcaster Bob Uecker. Being a Brewer fan, I grew up listening to Bob on the radio and he's always been one of my favorite baseball-people. I figured the name suited me well since I love the game so much and I'm a brewer fan.

It's a bit of a long story, but basically, I love horror movies and also authors like Stephen King, I have read every word Stephen King has written at least twice, and one of my favourite horror movies ever is called 'Thir13en Ghosts'...

Plus, I actually grew up in an old farmhouse dating from the 19th century in the Catskill Mountains here in upstate NY, and which wa definately haunted!! Whether you believe in all that stuff or not, me and my parents and my brothers and sisters we all saw and heard things which spooked us over the years and which we couldn't explain, and the interest has stuck with me. I now have two young sons of my own aged 9 and 11, and even they are turning out the same as me, as they ask to watch horror, yikes! though obviously we only allow them to see very tame stuff, maybe like Harry Potter and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and so I have to keep all my hard-core slasher movies locked in a cupboard in the cellar. So that's why I am Thir13en Ghosts, but like I told you, it's a pain typing it, so I just want people to call me '13' if it's easier.
    '13'

Well, as you probably already know... Mike is just short for Michael. I figured I had a fancy username everywhere else, why not just pick something normal for once.

At pool hall they call the rail birds who "sweat the action" sweaters and I'm 58 and even though I've had this handle since I was 46, I was a lot older then the tournament foosers I've watched for 13 years. Pool 11 years and baseball for as long as I can remember, which is my favorite.
