    Talking about brothers.

Did you know that Ryan Raburn (Detroit Tigers) has a brother, Johnny Raburn, who also played baseball? He never got higher than AAA where he played his last season with the Nashville Sounds. Johnny also played three seasons with the Montgomery Biscuits (2005, 2006 and 2008). In total Johnny played for four MLB organisations: Anaheim, Milwaukee, Tampa Bay and Florida.

I knew that one. Of course I am known for my knowledge of "useless" baseball trivia.

If you want to talk about brothers, Barry Bonds has a brother named Bobby, named after his father of course. I read an article about 10-15 years ago when Bobby Jr. was in the Padres organization that quoted their Dad as saying that Bobby Jr. was better than his brother.
Bobby Jr. never made it to the bigs. But considering that his brother was pretty good even before steroids, the thought is scary.

Here's in interesting one for ya!

Did you know, the oldest deceased player to have played Major League Baseball is Harry Wright, who would've celebrated his 177th birthday earlier in January.

Harry Wright was born on January 10th, 1835 in England. Wright pitched for the Boston Red Stockings from 1871-1874 and then went on to manage for 23-seasons. He was inducted to the MLB Hall of Fame in 1953.

Lou Gehrig hit 4 homeruns in a game once and would have had a 5th homerun but Al Simmons made a over the fence catch to rob him of his 5th homerun.

In the off season both were on board a cruise ship for a vacation and Gehrig refused to talk to Simmons because he was so angry at him.
