Derek Lowe was money early this season. I see the vet getting a start. Of course I've always liked Lowe.

Backer of Rockies and Yankees.
Great another injury. Just what we need. I wonder how long we can stay in first place...

Pending set backs, C.C. Sabathia plans to return to the rotation on Friday at Jacobs Field.
Sabathia threw a twenty pitch bullpen session cutting loose on the last six or seven. Sabathia plans to have another bullpen session of fourty pitches on Tuesday, just to increase the workload.

Yes. I will be glad to see this.
Ivan Nova has been placed on the 15 day DL with an inflamed rotator cuff. The treatment is just rest and medication, and he won’t pick up a baseball for at least five days.
Slowly our rotation is falling apart. Nova wasn't at his best the last two games. Looking to him and see how Hughes has been struggling lately, you can wonder if he is also bothered by injuries.
So I assume that the Yankees will move Lowe to the rotation, unless Sabathia really returns tomorrow.

Man yeah the long haul has not been good for the starting rotation.
The Yankees' Mark Texeira left Monday's game with what appeared to be a strained calf. It is unclear how long it will take before Tex is back in the lineup.

Man this is where the Yanks are struggling. Key guys are going down all at once. It is definitely affecting the Yanks ability to close games offensively.
Alex Rodriguez will begin a minor-league rehab assignment Friday, and GM Brian Cashman said “it’s possible” the injured slugger will rejoin the Yankees as early as Monday against the Rays in St. Petersburg.
Rodriguez, on the disabled list since July 25 with a fractured left hand suffered when he was hit by a Felix Hernandez pitch the previous night against Seattle, will serve as the designated hitter for Single-A Tampa on Friday at Lakeland.
If all goes well, Rodriguez will play third base on Saturday before the Yanks will determine if he needs more minor league at-bats or whether he is activated from the DL.

Let's hope we get these guys back, they shake off the rust and help in the march to the World Series.
