American Pickers, Pawn Stars, and Storage Wars

These are currently my three favorite TV shows and I think they deserve their own thread. I don't watch TV often but when I do its these 3. Have them recorded on DVR so that's nice!

American Pickers is my favorite show for sure. Has anyone seen these shows, do you watch them already?

I have seen American Pickers a few times and really enjoy it though it's more if I am flipping by and see it.

I enjoy Pawn Stars. American Pickers not so much. American Pickers is more of a show I watch if i'm flipping thru the channels and stumble upon it. What I really enjoyed watching was Ice Road Truckers. I also like Dirty Jobs. It is always interesting to see what kind of careers people have out there. It is amazing what some people do for a living.

Love seeing Pickers, up there with my favorite shows. Pawn Stars I enjoy sometimes, but I find myself getting annoyed with all of the fake items and overall stupid people during some episodes. I'm also liking this new show Decoded on History, interesting stuff there.

Decoded looks interesting to me, but it also looks like a crock of poop!

I thought that at first until I actually watched a couple episodes. Thought it would be like JFK assassination conspiracy theory stuff but at least the first two episodes that I've seen have been
    good.

The first one was about the White House cornerstone that is assumed to be missing as well as the Capital Building's cornerstone missing and they ran through many conspiracy theories but ultimately came up with the simple explanation that it is most likely just buried, which was disappointing, yet well supported by evidence.

The second one was better when they were able to disprove that Meriwether Lewis (aka Lewis of Lewis & Clark's expidition) committed suicide and was instead murdered. If I hadn't watched it I would have thought of it as a conspiracy theory, but there was overwhelming evidence supporting that he did not commit suicide and they were able to discredit the people who said he committed suicide.

Maybe you'll like it, maybe you won't though, I'm a history geek so stuff like this interests me.

Well now that you mention all the support by the evidence it sounds a bit more intriguing. It looked interesting when they were showing the commercials, but it seemed like BS. The fact that they have strong evidence will be more enticing to give this show a shot.

I've watched American Pickers since it came on last year. I do a bit of picking myself (not actually picking myself...that would be wrong) during the warmer months. It's fun, can be profitable and it really annoys my wife. I still think they need to get a bigger truck.

I watch Pawn Stars right up until the time I can't take Rick Harrison's laugh anymore.
I watched the Indy 500, and I was thinking that if they left earlier they wouldn't have to go so fast.

I'm waiting til it warms up to get into picking as well. It can definitely be profitable. I agree 100% with the bold in your quote. Also, your sig is hilarious. Lmao!
