They have the athlete linked to their main sport. If you click on the wiki link they have Sanders under football with baseball being secondary.

Going from memory and correct me if I am wrong, but I think Brian Jordan was the only athlete to play in the Pro Bowl and MLB all star game. I believe he was a fill in for both sports due to injuries of other all stars who couldn't play.

I do know Deion Sanders had below league average stats for batting.

Jackie Jensen had a claim similar to that....the only man to play in the Rose Bowl, the World Series, and an MLB All-Star game.-BH

Bo Jackson was an MLB all-star in 1989 and made the NFL pro bowl a year later.

Jeff Samardizijia (sp?) is a pitcher for the Cubs. He was a highly touted TE out of Notre Dame. He would have been drafted pretty high if he would have gone that route. Chose baseball though!

Yeah, been up for parts of 5 seasons. Our Cub fans here at BN talked about him quite a bit. He was 8-4 with a 2.97 ERA last season, 6-7 so far this year.

The first name that I thought of when I opened the thread was some guy who played on the 1917 NL champion Giants and the 1919 World Champion Reds named Jim Thorpe. He did a few things in other sports too.
Also, George Halas had a cup of coffee with the New York Yankees in 1919.
I didn't see either of these Pro Football HOFers in your list.
Note: Gwynn is still the all time assist leader in San Diego State history.

I was looking at the original list in the first post. I now notice that both Thorpe and Halas are in the MLB/NFL list.
