All of the players I voted for got in except for Brandon Phillips. I think he is more deserving than Dan Uggla, but nonetheless here are the rosters:

Edwin Encarnacion should be in the final vote. He's been tearing it up at the plate. I also think Kipnis and Pierzynski deserve it too, but probably missed due to position depth (though Pierzynski has been out-hitting Napoli this year).

For NL, it's tough to see players having great years but can't find a spot due to the talent this year. Vogelsong, Cueto, McDonald, Capuano, and a bunch of other pitchers have great numbers. Ethier, Bourn, and as you mentioned, Phillips, are also performing well. You know it's a tough year to make the all-star team when Braun, CarGo, McCutchen, and Wright are reserves.

The starters seem for the most part just big name guys, though of course many deserve it. Nevertheless, here were my votes (IN BOLD CAPS):

C A.J. PIERZYNSKI, CWS not Mike Napoli, TEX
1B EDWARD ENCARNACION, TOR, not Prince Fielder, DET
    2B Robinson Cano, NYY
    3B Adrian Beltre, TEX
SS ELVIS ANDRUS, TEX, not Derek Jeter, NYY
    OF Josh Hamilton, TEX
OF ADAM JONES, BAL, not Curtis Granderson, NYY
    OF Jose Bautista, TOR
    DH David Ortiz, BOS

C CARLOS RUIZ, PHI, not Buster Posey, SF
    1B Joey Votto, CIN
2B BRANDON PHILLIPS, CIN, not Dan Uggla, ATL
3B DAVID WRIGHT, NYM, not Pablo Sandoval, SF
    SS Rafael Furcal, STL
OF RYAN BRAUN, MIL, not Melky Cabrera, SF
    OF Carlos Beltran, STL
OF CARLOS GONZALEZ, COL, not Matt Kemp, LAD

Apparently you aren't the only one!

Porsha Phillips, who played college basketball at the University of Georgia, was not happy to hear that her brother was left off the All-Star team.

So how did she handle the news? Not well. She jumped on Twitter and posted a message where she ripped the city that will host the All-Star game in a few weeks.

    Her Tweet:

"NObody didn't wanna go to boring ass KansasCity anyway. Enjoy that contract tho bra bra

Couldn't help but notice that Huston Street made the NL roster and Jason Hammel is on the AL final vote ballot.

Rockies front office sure ain't all stars.
