    Johnny D.

Rumor has it that the Indians are getting Damon. It is supposed to be announced today.
I loved Johnny when he was with the Yanks. Of course I hated him with the Sox. I don't know how much he has left, though.

He agreed to a deal with the Indians a few days ago. He was placed on the Major League roster today. Corresponding move by the Indians was releasing INF Jose Lopez.

We will see but I don't think he has much left in the tank.

    And so I was right....

Johnny Damon was cut by the Cleveland Indians on Friday after struggling through 64 games, hitting .222 with four home runs.

Time to retire I guess. Otherwise he can head to Japan. Maybe some team overthere wants to sign him.

The time comes for each of us.
