    Ted Williams signed baseball value?

It is my grandfathers birthday and I am trying to find him a signed Ted Williams baseball who was his favorite player. Most of the balls I have seen that are graded are way out of my price range. I found one that looks decent but it has other signatures on the ball and an inscription, I was curious if that takes away from the value. I am also concerned about it being a real signature, one I found that is suppose to be from the 1950’s signed is not graded, if anyone can give me an understanding of the value or authenticity that would help a lot! If you want to see the one I found it is at http://snasy.com/productdetails.php?productid=23

if it's not graded, iow no documentation, don't even bother. Unfortunately for you, the only way to obtain that ball is to fork over the dough (and a lot of it). You might consider finding a good print of a Ted Williams picture and framing it....you could get that put together for under 500 bucks i'd imagine and not spend nearly what you would on an autographed ball. Pictures show better than baseballs anyways......

    good luck

Documentation, PSA-DNA, and JSA would be the way to go.... Inscriptions take away value but hint authenticity... It doesn't guarantee it.

I have several copies of Ted's autograph and that one looks to be authentic. It appears that someone has graded it to be a good sig, so I'd say go for it.
Teddy Ballgame was one of my favorites when I was a kid as well.
