    New (and unusual) Fantasy League

I'm looking for one more owner to join 5 of us (including me, WilsonC, LarryBud, and astrosfanatic) in a unique league.

    6 teams
    small active roster (C,1B,2B,3B,SS,LF,CF,RF,U,SP,RP,RP)
    large bench (9)
    7X7 roto
    ESPN
Exclusive rights to every player in your chosen division (AL Central is the only available division)

PM me (Mudge) if you are interested.

As it turns out, we still have an opening for someone to take the AL Central team.

    Any takers?

I'm curious how this concept worked out Mudge. I've never seen this done before, it's rather interesting.

We had a good time (most owners are returning for a second year). The challenges were quite different from the challenges in other leagues.

If you want to take a look at the discussion from last season, here it is: http://baseballtalk.freeforums.org/t...-2012-t11.html

Very cool, though the uncertainty of trades stress the hell out of me. I could only imagine what the NL East owner spent his season doing while Loria gutted his roster for peanuts.

Exactly -- one of the vicissitudes of the league.

It hit me too (Mr. AL East) when the Red Sox unloaded their players on the Dodgers. Aftrosfanatic (Mr. NL West) was pretty happy though.

Yea, that one really did hit you hard. But that's gotta be one of the great things about the league, you can't get comfortable.

This league was one of my favorites because it was different. There is a lot more luck involved in it because of the loaded rosters, but there is a lot of skill mixed in as well. Having to choose between Cain and Kershaw to start one night, and then managing the bullpen was tough. I benefited from the Dodgers new ownership going crazy with additions, and hopefully it continues

It's a neat idea, and i can't wait to see how this year turns out.

As it stands right now, I think we will be looking for one new owner.

    Anyone interested?

'd be interested but having never played any fantasy football I would need some help how to get this started.
