Yessir! Let me just start this by saying that 2011 will be the year of the Penguin.

The Boston Bruins have had their share of fame in the last week or so.

2 current Bruins players each scored their first career NHL Hat Tricks.

Patrice Bergeron did it in a 6-0 shutout on January 11th against Ottawa, while Bruins Captain Zdeno Chara did it on January 17th against the Carolina Hurricanes.

All-Star Weekend coming up, watch some, I've got the Draft on Friday and The Game on Sunday, not sure about the skills comp in between though, never really been interested in that

The only problem is that to the average person who never watches any hockey, if you watch this, you don't actually get to watch hockey, you get to see a bunch of forwards just blowing through everything and getting a lot of scores, unfortunately there's no fix to this, players just don't want to get hurt in a meaningless game

Malkin is going to sit out as well, which I also don't mind. I also think the last few games have showed that the Penguins are still a respectable team when Crosby and Malkin aren't playing. They're 5-3-1 since Crosby went out.
