Definitely one of the best leadoff hitters ever. If you've never heard of him or if you just want to hear a great argument for him, check out this article: http://www.fieldofignorance.com/2011...eadoff-hitter/
I'm curious to hear what people think.

Let's start off by hearing what you think!
Mex86 (12-22-2011)
.290 batting average, more than 2,000 hits and 558 stolen bases. Definitely a stand up guy, in terms of lead off hitters.

Solid, but not shining.
Good leadoff hitter, especially in the years in the NL West with SF and LAD. Mediocre fielder. Stole a lot of bases, but also got caught a lot (2.1 to 1 success rate, which is not good).
