I am not familiar with the phenomenon Fan Pack.

Can you just send an e-mail and request one? Is it really that simple? What are the costs?

    Thank you.

This is something that really bothers me about Major League Baseball and the clubs. I can imagine that they don't want to involve fans outside the US in sweepstakes that can make you win a trip to the World Series or All Star Game. It would be pretty expensive to buy a plane ticket for them.

But I saw a sweepstakes that could make fans win a complet authentic outfit (cap, jersey, jacket). But then again only US fans. MLB wants to make the sport more popular outside the US. I think this is a big opportunity to involve foreign fans in sweepstakes like the latter.

Yeah you just send them an email and some require a self addressed stamped envelope and some a postcard before responding. The cost beyond that is free.

It makes sense to not include international fans in trips or things involving players. However any other sweepstakes/contests should be open to all fans if you want to grow internationally. Either that or they should run a contest for international fans.

    Thank you guys.

I have sent mails to the Yankees (of course), the Red Sox (for a friend of mine), the Dodgers (for my little nephew) and the Rays.
