Calvin Schiraldi or Bob Stanley should buy it since it has seemed to take the monkey off of their backs all these years. Schiraldi had two out and none on but gave up 3 straight hits and one run. Bob Stanley comes in and wild pitches in the tying run, all before the Buckner error. Never have figured out how so many fans think that it would have been a cinch for the Red Sox to win the extra inning game without the Buckner error.
