CLOSED BALLOT: 1972 Veterans Committee Ballot

Welcome back to the Virtual HOF Series where YOU decide who is HOF worthy.

    1972 Veterans Committee Ballot

This is a great jumping on point.

You can click on a name and find out the baseball-reference information on each player.

Congrats to Sandy Koufax and Pee Wee Reese who were both elected on the 1972 BBWAA Ballot.

Ok just a reminder, these are the winners from past elections: HOF Inductees

We are now staying with 1972. You can vote for up to 5 players and executives. Anyone not elected is gone like Yesterdays news. This is an exact replica of the 1972 Veterans Committee Ballot minus past winners.

Voting closes Sun. Sept 18th at 7 am.

    Buck Leonard
    Josh Gibson
    Lefty Gomez
    Ross Youngs
    Will Harridge

Yep, put my vote down for the same 3

    • Buck Leonard
    • Josh Gibson
    • Lefty Gomez

Josh Gibson may have been the greatest player of all-time ... but we'll never know for sure.

"Tonight was the exact same thing," Bundy said. "Going into each
start, they want me to work on my changeup. I'm going out there
throwing changeups and curveballs when I don't even need to."

Translation: Hitters can't even touch Bundy's
fastball, never mind get wood on a curve.

Sad but true. To think how much talent was largely ignored due to skin color....sad.
