I think the reunions are great, but I sure don't think it's so great why these families are separated in the first place.

Well yeah you hate to see families separated by war, famine, any reason really. However, with the military, there is no draft...these guys volunteered for a service tha they knew had the potential to take them away from loved ones.

Don't get me wrong, I'm no pacifist per se, and I trust volunteers know what they are getting into when they sign up. Furthermore, I'm delighted for the family in this case, and I think the whole way Major Harlow and his daughters pulled it off was fantastic -- and kudos to the Mississippi Braves.
