St Louis Cardinals Did Yadier Spit at Ump?

What do you think? He will definitely get a suspension for this but did he spit in the Umps face?

Molina denied that he would ever do that and it is probable that any spittle was unintentional.

You can see better quality video here:

    So what do you think?

Nothing on purpose, IMO. I wish players like this with all that fire, could harness it better to use to their advantage. Point that much rage at a ball with mental control and you'd really have something going.

    Roid rage anyone?

to me that's not playing with fire. totally uncalled for, and he will probably get suspended for 5 games, appeal, and then have it shortened to 3. Normally you see catchers getting this mad b/c they have seen the strike zone firsthand all night long. So my guess is that the ump called that location a ball all night until Yadier's final AB. Yadier went crazy on that ump. Say your piece, but leave some room between you and the ump and dont be so violent in your pursuit.

They've been getting that close to umps long before steroids became so widespread. I also try my best to judge a player no matter what uniform he is wearing.

He'd probably been talking like Sylvester the Cat. Nothing on purpose. So if he gets some extra games because of spitting, it is another proof that some umpires can't stand any criticism.

St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina has been suspended for five games by Major League Baseball, which determined he made contact with umpire Rob Drake and "sprayed him with spittle twice" during the confrontation

what are you talking about??? I was thinking the Cards would be the perfect fit for a switch to the AL. Or maybe they could jumpstart a new branch of MLB in Asia. I got so many good ideas it's not even funny. i would be the best commish ever.
