Which are your all-time favorite baseball movies? Which were the worst?

I think the worst was The Slugger's Wife. Awful, awful movie.
I wish I could play little league now. I'd be way better than before.
FAVORITE FICTIONALS: Field of Dreams, Bull Durham, Bang the Drum Slowly.
FAVORITE NON-FICTIONAL: Fear Strikes Out, Eight Men Out, Pride of the Yankees.
WORST: Ed, The Fan, The Rookie
"I think about the cosmic snowball theory. A few million years from now the sun will burn out and lose its gravitational pull. The earth will turn into a giant snowball and be hurled through space. When that happens it won't matter if I get this guy out." Bill Lee
My Favorites: Major League, Little Big League, Angels in the Outfield, Pride of the Yankees, The Rookie, Sugar
Dislike: Mr. 3000, 61*
Ones on my list to watch: Bang the Drum Slowly, Chasing 3000, The Perfect Game
If there is one that you havent seen, that you should see: Sugar. Great movie and shows a lot what minor league life is for these latino prospects
interesting that this comes up today, b/c the pitcher who Disney's "The Rookie" is based off of is giving the sermon at my church this morning. I will let you all know how it goes. Always nice to get to hear guest speakers on Sunday mornings!
Strikeouts are boring - besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls. More democratic. ~Bull Durham

I agree with all movies mentioned so far....
At the top of my list is a three-way tie: Bull Durham, Eight Men Out, and Field of Dreams.
For the Love of the Game needs a mention.... and while not a movie, the miniseries "The Bronx Is Burning" was exceptional. Fever Pitch was funny in spots.... even though it is based on a guy being obsessed with Arsenal in the EPL.
Jim Morris (The Rookie) gave a pretty good sermon. The message was "Remember Who You Are". Basically, he gave a rundown of his life story and his biggest influences and how he wasn't successful until he started doing things for other people and allowing himself to be part of God's plan for him. When he tried to do things for himself (i.e. be a star athlete) things never went right (7 shoulder surgeries)...pretty good story, and he said Dr. James Andrews got to be so good because of the practice he (Dr Andrews) had on his shoulder.....
just a good story all the way around

These are the ones I like and aren't in any particular order:
1.) Major League
2.) Mr. 3000
3.) The Sandlot
4.) Little Big League
5.) Field of Dreams
Whenever I watch The Rookie on TV I always seem to fall asleep but I do remember watching it all the way through once and liking it. Maybe its just one of those movies I can't watch more than once.
