A few moments ago, I saw a close up of the back side of a Twins player. I saw two stars at the back of the cap an the jersey. What does that mean? Is it to commemorate the two WS championships, just like the do in soccer?

I assume the Twin you saw was Cuddyer. Every all star this year has 2 stars on their cap and jersey to show they are an All-Star.
http://minnesota.twins.mlb.com/mlb/g..._home&c_id=minShields, along with the rest of this year's All-Stars, will be wearing uniforms that sport the All-Star Game logo and two stars above the nameplate, as well as two stars on the back of the caps.
If you wanted a bit more confirmation.
Ha, Biscuit gets his answer and it's probably bedtime in the Netherlands.
Nice find, Baseballnum3er0.

I just saw this post. They mentioned something about it last night during the Astros/Bucs game while Hunter Pence was batting.

Just curious -- why two stars?
Is it Cudduyer's second appearance?

Not sure, but at least with the picture ESPN has of a model hat it may be just for looks. It also is his first all-star appearance, he has benefited in that way from Mauer and Morneau both struggling with health issues, although, I'm pretty confident that he'd give up his All-Star appearance for his team to be a legitimate contender again.
