Baltimore Orioles Baseball Nation Interviews Clay Rapada

    Interviewer: Gavin Giles

Q: Baseball Nation - What has been the most memorable moment of you're career thus far?

A: Clay Rapada - Playing in Yankee Stadium original.

Q: Baseball Nation - I know you're Major League debut with the Cubs was short-lived, but what was it like when you stepped onto the mound at Wrigley for the first time?

A: Clay Rapada - I remember having weak legs as 45,000 fans were screaming and cheering!

Q: Baseball Nation - How do you and you're teammates keep yourselves entertained on long road trips?

A: Clay Rapada - I choose to watch movies.

Q: Baseball Nation - Sidearm pitchers are a rarity in todays game, how did you develop such a delivery?

A: Clay Rapada - It just takes athleticism and flexibility.

Q: Baseball Nation - Before we close, as an avid lifter myself I can't help but ask - who in the O's clubhouse can push the most weight in the weight-room?

A: Clay Rapada - I would guess Kevin Gregg.

Baseball Nation - Thanks again for agreeing to the interview! I'm sure all the O's fans at Baseball Nation will enjoy this!

Wish he had padded his answers a bit but nice little interview for sure.

Yeah, his responses weren't nearly as long as I had hoped.

You didn't ask questions that he could answer with yes or no. Otherwise he may have done that too.

The Yankees' link with the Netherlands since 1981

The Netherlands: 2011 World Champions baseball, beating Cuba twice (4-1 and 2-1)!!!!!

I won't complain. It was very nice of him to take some time off his busy schedule for us regardless.
