This looks like a job for TTM Central.

Did it no say at auction which Cubs player it was?

It looks like the first name starts with a P and the last name starts with a K. Doing a search on Baseball-Ref I came up with the following names.

    Paul Kilduff 1917-1919
    Paul Kilgus 1989
    Pete Knisely 1913-1915

My wife thinks the first letter is an R.

    Ray King 1999
    Randy Kramer 1990
    Rube Kroh 1908-1910
    Ralph Kiner 1953-1954

Yeah I thought the first letter was an R and it started with a K for the last name but gets interesting in the middle of the last name. Looks like it could be a K as well.

I'm not sure. I went looking for various autographs and found a few P's that were very similar to what is seen on that ball. Could go either way though.

Very interested to see if we can figure out who this autograph belongs to.

And Rick, I agree. That second K throws me off a bit.

You are all very helpful, I appreciate it! It was a storage type auction, didn't know this was a buried treasure in a box. Now if we can just figure this out... It doesn't appear that old to me either 5-20 years possibly, could be wrong though!

So it was a storage auction. So it could be from any team then and not specifically the Cubs?

It might no even be a ball player.

Are you sure it was a Cub who signed this?

The autograph looks very similar to Ron Karkovice's.

The Yankees' link with the Netherlands since 1981
