    Greatest Starting Pitcher - 1980's

This thread will allow you to vote for who in your opinion feel is the greatest player at his position for a particular decade. The criteria I will be using is 1,000 games played for position players, 250 games started for SP's, and 400 appearances for relief pitcher's.

Here are the candidates for the 1980's Starting Pitcher, and the poll will be closed at 3:35 CST on Monday, June 20th.

Gotta go with Nolan Ryan on this one.

There really isn't much to debate here. Nolan Ryan.

I wish I could play little league now. I'd be way better than before.

If there would have been a pitcher from the 80's that had many more wins than loses and a better ERA than Nolan Ryan they would have got my vote. It is hard to go against that amount of strikeouts though.
