Nice to see. Now, does he have much left in the tank? I guess we'll all find out.

When I first saw the Detroit Old English D, and the word Rehab, I first thought that Cabrera was finally going to go to AA lol.
Maybe a 15-day break from action will be good for Brandon Inge...he's really been struggling so far, batting only .211 with 1HR and 44Ks.
Magglio Ordonez came back today after being on the DL
Tigers catcher Victor Martinez has left a game against the San Francisco Giants with a bruised right shoulder.
Brandon Inge placed on the DL with a groin strain. Ramon Santiago will likely see a slight bump in his playing time. However, Fielder, Raburn, Peralta, and Cabrera are still expected to have the infield positions locked down for the most part.
Brandon Inge (groin) will begin a minor league rehab assignment Tuesday with Triple-A Toledo.
Inge is eligible to come off the disabled list Saturday, but it's not known if he'll be ready from then. He's expected to start at second base against left-handers upon his return.
Tom Gage of the Detroit News reports that there's "new hope" Victor Martinez could return later this season because he didn't need ACL reconstructive surgery on his left knee.
Very interesting. V-Mart had microfracture surgery on his left knee in February and was scheduled to undergo ACL reconstructive surgery last week, but apparently the damage wasn't as extensive as originally believed. While this is encouraging news, we likely won't know more about his status until sometime in July. Setbacks from microfracture surgery are also common, so the Tigers certainly won't count on him.
Austin Jackson placed on 15 day DL with an abdominal strain. Ryan Raburn returns from the bereavement list to replace AJax.
The Tigers placed starting center fielder Austin Jackson on the 15-day disabled list with a pulled right hamstring.
