Latos hates the Giants

Well at least he is not hiding how he feels:

So Mat Latos has autographed a few balls for a local baseball shop. Where some guys put a date, a scripture, a HOF notification, Mat Latos decided to up the ante.

I hate S.F.

With that little swish of the pen, Latos declared his feelings about the team that kept the Padres out of the playoffs by defeating them on the last day of the season.

At least he isn't bitter!

Personally I love to see players fired up like this! It really does show commitment to the game in my eyes.

Now he has to back his hatred up and go out and pitch a few gems against them this year.

Hate is a strong word. I'd get a chuckle if he got traded down the road to the Giants.

I actually like to see this. It really shows that he has a passion for his team and a passion to win. It also shows the pain he felt of losing that last game...I can see why he's bitter. It shows he at least cares for the city and has a good will to win.

This makes the game I saw at Petco Park in August in which Mat Latos was dominated by the Giants that much more sweet.
