Mauer is day to day and i'm hearing he will be only out for 2 days at most. maybe 3.

Mauer has no structural damage to his knee, and may need a cortisone shot. The MRI showed only tissue inflammation. Gardy expects him to be out no longer than a few more days.

Gardenhire OK after being struck by ball
Haha, seems funny. Hopefully he's not hurt.DETROIT -- Minnesota Twins manager Ron Gardenhire has been hit in the ear by a thrown ball during batting practice, but does not appear to be seriously hurt.
A Twins spokesman says Gardenhire appeared to be OK after being hit in the right ear, and that team doctors were monitoring his condition.

Eh.. I don't really see the humor in this. Even if it is only practice, you still need to be careful. There are even figure skaters and other athletes that get injured while practicing for the Olympics or any other known sport. It is an unfortunate event but practicing hard for something is the only way you can get good or great at what you do.
