Blue Jays transferred RHP Dustin McGowan from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list.
It's just a procedural move, as McGowan isn't close to returning from the DL. He's begun playing light catch but has yet to throw off a mound.
Blue Jays placed OF Ben Francisco on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 21, with a strained left hamstring.
Francisco suffered the injury Sunday and hasn't recovered as hoped. He'll be out at least until early June.
Pitcher Luis Perez will miss the rest of the year with a torn ligament. He will be the 8th Blue Jays pitcher on the DL.
Dang 8 pitchers. That is rough.

Jose Bautista lands on the DL with a wrist injury. Heralded prospect Anthony Gose will replace Bautista's spot on the roster.
