Case in point, the US leading everyone to believe that Konerko will replace Tex on their roster, when in fact they chose Eric Hosmer of Kansas City.
That is in fact the case; however, I don't believe that in the situations I am referring to the runner had a clear path to the plate, so they were forced to do the "leap".
