Giants' World Series Trophy to New York

In a sympathetic move the San Francisco Giants brought the 2010 World Series Trophy to New York, to give old New York Giants fans the possibility to celebrate the Giants' first WS title since 1954. The trophy will be shown near the old site of the Polo Grounds.

I wonder if the Dodgers have ever done something similar for the fans they left behind at the East Coast.

Makes me wonder too YBF...Honestly, as much as I despise of the Giants its such a class-act move by the organization. If I was a Brooklyn Dodgers fan left behind, that would honestly mean the world to me!

10 bucks says the Thunder would never bother to do that if they won the NBA Championship <_<

I'm sure at least a few people in that organization will recognize what the Giants are doing sooner or later and I believe if they won the championship I know for damn sure they would do it. IMO though...It just seems logical. The Giants may very well be starting a trend here amongst the sports world.

Classy but most of the old NY Giants fans would be to old to go out and see it!

Seriously, they hurt the fans. If I was an old MY Giant fan I would not go to see it.
