Have fun:

"The way to catch a knuckleball is to wait until it stops rolling and then pick it up." Haha, and you gotta love "It ain't over 'til it's over" by Yogi Berra.

All 25 spots could have been filled by Yogi Berra!

"Winfield goes back to the wall, he hits his head on the wall and it rolls off! It's rolling all the way back to second base. This is a terrible thing for the Padres."

I remember this one from years back. That was one of the funniest things I've ever read, especially when you picture it really happening.

And quote #25 reminds me of my Uncle. He used to say the same thing about the bottle. Years after he was murdered, I heard pretty much the same line in the movie, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

What about this one by Casey Stengel after he was fired after the 1960 WS loss against the Pirates on charges of being too old? "I'll never make the mistake of being seventy again".

Haha! Awesome link. I love baseball these baseball quotes! Here are two of my favorites:

"What are we at the park for except to win? I'd trip my mother. I'd help her up, brush her off, tell her I'm sorry. But mother don't make it to third." Leo Durocher

"The trouble with women umpires is that I couldn't argue with one. I'd put my arms around her and give her a little kiss." Casey Stengel

Leo Durocher and Casey Stengel are my favorites for funny baseball quotes. Here's a link to a list on the top ten baseball quotes (http://hubpages.com/hub/The-Top-Ten-Baseball-Quotes) I wrote a while back.

Good show. One of my favorites of course is my signature: one of "Spaceman" Bill Lee's nuggets, which he actually said to his pitching coach at a crucial point in the middle of some game.

Another of Bill Lee's is "The right side of the brain controls the left side of the body and vise versa; therefore lefties are the only ones in their right minds."

FYI: The Sports Illustrated quotation attributed to Bill Lee was actually written and sung by Warren Zevon.
