This thing will not pop-up for me anymore. I don't understand?
I installed it and it worked fine. I've had all these PM's I didn't even know about because I was never notified....
Is it only happening to me?

Is it really a big deal? When I get on the homepage, I check if there is a number at the PM's on top.

Well the thing is, you can't see that anymore. I installed a new notifications system, and for the new one to work I had to delete that piece of coding which shows you the number at the top. I installed it, it worked perfectly, but now...It doesn't.

I figured it out. The javascript for the tweet button in each thread was conflicting with it. The Facebook like button works, but the twitter pop-up was interfering with it. Looks like i'll be removing the tweet button here in the morning. Fixed the notification issue. I'll implement the twitter button in threads in a different way. This tweet button was way more high-tech and flashy, that's why in conflicted with the notification system.
Problem has been solved fellas!
Ok I was missing the notifications as well but it looks like I just saw it now for the very first time oddly enough. But just to be safe, I went into my user settings and marked off the check box that says to display a popup message when receiving new PMs. I suggest others do the same if they are concerned about not getting the notifications.

It's not an issue anymore Mike. If you uncheck that box, users will have an issue with not seeing they have a new notification. As I have taken out the coding that displays the new notification at the top. The only way you will see it now is with the new system. The problem has been solved. No need to worry about not seeing new notifications. It was two javascript queries clashing. Needless to say, Mr. Notification has his javascript coding all to himself in the header template.
Ermm I didnt mean uncheck it. I said to mark it off as in check it off so that it is enabled. ermm ok i guess i understand where you thought i said uncheck... lol
