Morrow is currently one of my pitchers on my starting rotation and a player on my fantasy league says he needs a pitcher and is offering me Johnny Damon (Indians) for Brandon Morrow.
I need a bit more offense of my team, but I was wondering if this is a fair trade?

heck no....especially with Morrow's CG SO last night. You'd be crazy to just get Damon back. This is a good time to trade Morrow as his value is likely as high as it will ever get, but you need to aim much higher. If you post your team as it is now i can give you more information. I would thnik Morrow could get you a Hunter Pence/Matt Holliday/A-Rod if you find the right trade partner and package him correctly.
Again, if you give some more info, i can give you more feedback. How many teams in the league? Scoring type? Your current roster?
Good Luck!

Absolutely not. Doesn't matter if you need hitting or have too many pitchers, Damon is not a good option at any position. He's not going to offer much more offense than a loaf of bread and Morrow is currently at a sell-high value. You're basically trading away fresh t-bone steak for appleseeds.
If you want a fair deal, I think you can get someone to trade you a player value of at least Adam Jones if you want OF help.
