I am going to make a bold one. Rays.
Nah. First wait until the first two months are over. It depends on so many things; injury bug to name one.

Too early still for making divisional predictions but here are a couple micro predictions:
I predict that Posey and Sandoval will combine for 60 HR and be a the top 10 tandem of hitters in MLB in 2012.
The Giants will also boost their scoring by roughly 100 runs in 2012. They may even reach that 700 Runs Scored level!

Every year I pick the Brewers, and every year I'm wrong.

I can't make predictions for the entire league because of the low amount of time I have to put into looking at what everyones teams look like. I can give some predictions however:
NL East:
Philadelphia Phillies 91 wins
Atlanta Braves 88 wins
Florida Marlins 87 wins
Washington Nationals 84 wins
NY Mets 60-62 wins
I think the race will be close. The race will depend heavily on whether Jair Jurrjens and Tommy Hanson will stay healthy for the course of the season. I think I could easily see the Marlins jump the Braves if they are unable to get going. If somehow the Braves could turn a few things to their advantage like Heyward rebounding and Uggla not being so bad so far into the season, I could see them and the Phillies switching spots. I guess the whole season really weights on whether the instability of hitting coaches can help influence those two guys for the better or not.
I don't see the NL East having either one of the Wild Card spots.
I think we could also see a very nice Cy Young race if Josh Johnson and Tommy Hanson stay healthy from the NL East, combined with one of Lincecum or Cain and Clayton Kershaw and Roy Halladay(who was completely robbed of the Cy Young this past year)
I'm really interested to see what happens and who emerges as the best player in the NL with Pujols gone. Granted his last couple of years have been very unPujols-esque.

I've never been very good at making predictions (mostly because I never watch baseball outside of the National League). But I can say this, the NL Central will once again be a blood battle, as usual...

I'd just be glad to see the Red Sox back in the playoffs.

Dodgers won't figure, so probably the Giants will take it, I have no idea what happened to Arizona last year, they went from something like 65 wins in 2010 to 95 wins in 2011 without adding hardly anything to their roster, so the west could be another weird year like that I suppose.

If the Yankees don't win the World Series in 2012 with their potpourri of riches, then they ought to be relegated to the minor leagues.

That's not a prediction, that's a given. :veryhappy:
Is it also a given that they will get beat again in the playoffs by a team that spends about half as much as they do on payroll?
:)

Winning the World Series is not that easy. The Phillies proved that last year when they didn't even reach the Series. All each team can do is try and hope things work out their way. If you wish to talk of a 'potpourri of riches', I would think you could do better with the Anaheim Angels or Detroit Tigers.

Could be, that's why the games are played on the field and not by useless stat sheets. Thank God, the franchise is willing to invest.

PIT? SDP? you high?
At the time i posted this... no comment.
But i do like Pit a lot and think they could somehow pull it off.
Padres i actually like their pitching a ton and if their hitters hit the ball decently i think they'll have a chance at the second WC.
