The Bill Buckner ball from the 1986 World Series -- will go on sale this month with a $1 million price tag thanks to the Grammy-nominated songwriter who owns it. The ball will go up for auction on eBay on Oct. 15, and the plans are for the bidding to close late on Oct. 25

What kind of ..... would pay that amount? Ridiculous.

1 Million would probably get you a piece of the Mets....just ask Wilpon!

Calvin Schiraldi or Bob Stanley should buy it since it has seemed to take the monkey off of their backs all these years. Schiraldi had two out and none on but gave up 3 straight hits and one run. Bob Stanley comes in and wild pitches in the tying run, all before the Buckner error. Never have figured out how so many fans think that it would have been a cinch for the Red Sox to win the extra inning game without the Buckner error.
