The D-Backs have made the playoffs for the first time since 2007. But their toughest task is perhaps at hand. They are 1 game back of the Brewers for the rights to play Atlanta in the first round instead of the Phillies.

I am interested to see how they react in the playoffs. I think they have a decent shot against the Phils. Kennedy-Hudson-Saunders make a solid 1-2-3 to match the Phillies. Obviously they are infrerior, but who knows? MAybe theri youth an inexperience give them a false sense of confidence to put them over the top. Or maybe that inexperience comes to light in a bad inning they cant get out of....

The Phils seem too dominant to me at this point. I can see the Diamondbacks taking out the Braves though!

The Brewers and Diamondbacks will now be battling it out in these final days for home-field advantage. The race is still on!

For the record, this forum is awfully quiet for a team that just earned a playoff spot. Where's all the love for the Diamondbacks?

Kirk Gibson's team was amazing this year. No one expected that they were going to win the NL West. This team is going to be great for a long time. Just add Trevor Bauer in the rotation and a big bat in the middle of the line up and they are really going to be fierce.

Hey, the swing from the heels D Backs went form 1529 K's in 2010 to 1249 this year. That is improving 280 in nothing outs.

They got rid of Mark Reynolds.
