I'm gonna be at Game 2 of the Lonestar Series tomorrow night, and it turns out that I'll be part of a world record attempt by Reliant and the Rangers.

Tell you what, I'll help the Rangers set the record, if you promise the Rangers will go easy on my Astros :)

Sounds good. Hopefully they ain't Rangers shades though, dunno if they'd let me bring those back to houston

No need for the Rangers to go easy, I've got Kinsler and Cruz on my fantasy team, haha.

Welcome to the board, by the way, we've got quite a few Astros fans now.

Really wish the Astros could have pulled it off, but when it went to the 11th there was pretty much no doubt the Rangers were gonna take the game.

The world record was a lot of fun. They actually had a judge from the Guinness group walkin around and making sure the record was being set properly, and at least I got a new pair of shades out of the whole thing.

You'd think an event like this would be able to generate a lot more ticket sales than it actually did. Infact, the Rangers attendance fell 3,000 seats short of the season average of 36,960.

Apparently George W. Bush and Nolan Ryan also participated in the World Record attempt.

I was pretty surprised to see this on the Colbert report last night. They had a pretty funny take on it, but I dunno why the fact that W was there is stealing the show. It was just a fun event to be a part of, who cares if Bush was there?
