Dear Baseball Nation Members,

Your Owner, Admins and Staff have tried to create a classy baseball site over the last 1+ years of our existence. Our site is growing slowly but surely and we like the way it is heading.

Members like you make this possible and we do appreciate all of your contributions.

However, we ask that, in promoting Baseball Nation, that you do not go to other sports forums and spam for Baseball Nation. Please leave any drama at the door!

Let me reiterate, spamming other sports forums and linking to BN IS NOT acceptable.

If you believe a forum would make a good affiliate please contact an admin of BN with that information.

Thank You!

Is this an actual problem or is this more of just a reminder?

Does it count as spam if the owner of the site doesn't know about it?

Unless the owner of the site gives you permission,it's spam. However, if you feel the need to advertise BN, we have a facebook page, twitter, etc. You can also recommend a site for us to review as an affiliate. SPAM Posting just won't fly.

I will admit, I gave out a hall pass on this one. The owner of that baseball forum vanished and left everyone behind and for the few that were there, I let this slide in hopes of showing them an active, stable, and dedicated baseball discussion forum. We do NOT operate this way typically, and it's our policy to not spam other websites, but with the situation of that baseball forum, I let this one slide. Trying to rescue the refugees was all.
