Forget Joe DiMaggio's 56-game hitting streak. Bath County (Ky.) baseball star Cable Wright recently finished a different kind of streak that might be just as difficult to duplicate: He reached base in 25 consecutive plate appearances.

There was a story in the paper yesterday about a former NE Ohio high school baseball player who didn't strike out from his freshman to junior year. He finished with 322 career at-bats and only 4 strikeouts. His name is Billy Urban and he plays shortstop for St. Bonaventure now.
