This week, the latest gossip in Milwaukee was in regards to Brewers owner Mark Attanasio being a potential buyer of the Los Angeles Dodgers. For those of you that know anything about Mark and his passion for this franchise, these rumors shouldn't concern you. However, I'm getting rather annoyed with all the fans that are having spaz attacks over a bunch of false statements that Yahoo made. Yahoo...one of the most unreliable websites on the web second to only Wikipedia, and fans actually deem it a valid source. Morons.

He's not leaving anytime soon. Stop worrying, I'm sick of hearing about it.

MILWAUKEE -- Rumors have been swiring that Brewers owner Mark Attanasio is a potential buyer of the Los Angeles Dodgers, but a rep for the team says it's untrue.

CBS 58 contacted Brewers spokesperson Tyler Barnes today and he says Attanasio is extremely happy to be in Milwaukee and speculation about his interest in buying the Dodgers is completely unfounded.

Barnes says neither he nor Attanasio will be doing any interviews about the situation.

He's already said that he's dedicated to Milwaukee baseball.

Just because he lives/works in LA doesn't mean he's going to buy their baseball team. At first it seemed like it would be a good fit but as I thought about it, he loves Milwaukee and he finally has a team that could be a perennial playoff team. No way he leaves the Brewers now.

Not only that, but why would an owner spend all that money to sign Braun to a long-term deal if he was planning on jumping ship? He worked so hard to build the team we have on the field now. This is the year when we find out if all that hard work paid off. Why the hell would he leave now of all times?
